— Ohio — While in Ohio we went thru some of the "Southern Ohio Smackdown" breeders with my good friend Donathon McIntosh. Donathon's son Grant is showing the Monopoly steer that has won several Ohio Steer Shows and definately looks to be a player at the Ohio State Fair in August. We saw an awesome group of Heat Wave's at the Dave Jones' farm. Be sure to check out the Hairy Bear heifer at Steve White's (937-681-8099) and the Maine sired heifer out of a Golden  Child cow at Jason Reynolds (513-260-7155). Sold for $10,500— Missouri — Mike Klingner (660-216-2460) has a tremendous group of calves again this year including a Rain Maker and Monopoly sired steers that are tremendous. Mike is going to try and get pictures that we can post at a later date. Sold for $15,000+ Dave jones also sold a heat Wave Steer for $17,000! |
